Vice-President,
Sales and Marketing
POSITION TITLE: Vice-President,
Sales and Marketing
JOB SUMMARY:
This position would report
to the Chief Operating Officer and would be responsible
for global Sales and Marketing of the company’s
medical devices, initially focusing on the launch
of Dermacyn® Wound Care in the United States. The
intent is to build a small but experienced highly
skilled sales and marketing team at the Petaluma,
California office.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Build a industry leading
team of marketing and sales professionals to
commercialize the company’s device products
- Responsible for developing
strategic marketing plans based on well designed
market research studies, outlining effective
marketing communications strategies and tactic,
supported by sales forecasts and budgets.
- Provide commercial leadership
to the Senior management team with regards
to increasing sales and providing input to
corporate imaging and advancing market responsive
research projects
- Oversees and provides direction
to the international operations and company
business partners regarding sales and marketing
strategies and tactics
- Accountable for global sales
and marketing activities with specific accountability
for device revenue goals (quarterly revenue
targets) and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of Sales and Marketing
management experience at the senior management
level in the wound care market.
- Documented success in corporate
sales and marketing planning and implementation
with successful new product launch experience
into the US market. US with international
experience is preferred.
- The candidate will have a
detailed understanding of wound care market
including competitive products and uses, reimbursement
and distribution logistics, including national
accounts and dealing with insurance companies
and their policies.
- Recognized and respected
in the wound care market with established relationships
with KOL clinicians.
- Familiarity with regulatory
process, issues and compliance
- Ability to organize & prioritize
projects, as well as handle multiple tasks & meet
tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work in fast paced,
entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent written and oral
communication skills, capable of presenting
a positive image for the company at major commercial
events and at potential partnering discussions.
- Proactive management style
with the ability to work effectively at the
senior management level.
